Every power tool and industrial machinery distributor operates a little differently. We want to make sure that you understand from the get-go what to expect when shopping BIS: Beaver Industrial Supply at beavertools.com.

STOCK INFORMATION

We are dedicated to stocking thousands of power tools, accessories, abrasives and machines in our four warehouses in St. Louis, MO and providing the most accurate information as we have available from our manufacturers on the orders we have had in place with them. Please check the red label on the product page before adding items to your cart for the current product availability. This changes rapidly, so we recommend placing orders as soon as possible to have the item allocated to your order.



CHECKING OUT



  • We allow customers to order any products that are currently manufactured by our vendors whether or not they are in stock. While we carry heavy inventory in our four warehouses, during this time some items still have a lead time, so we suggest placing your order to get in the queue with the machines that we have on order.
  • If your address does not pull up at checkout then we likely aren’t able to ship to your location. Please give us a call to see if we can ship to your area.
  • Log in or create an account to earn reward points and track your order.
  • You are charged at the time of placing your order. Our system is only set up to take payment at the time of purchase. We understand that it may cause an inconvenience for you to pay for tools that aren’t in stock, but we have no other way to process orders through our system. You agree to the terms at the time of purchase.
  • Tax may be added to your order depending on which states require us to collect it. Check out which states are currently requiring us to collect sales tax. If you have a tax exemption for your state, please follow the guidelines we have provided to getting your tax exemption status updated in the online system. 

COMMUNICATION

Rest assured, you’ll receive communication every step of the way. You should expect to receive the following communication from us:

  • when you create an account
  • when you reset your password
  • when you place an order
  • if we need further verification to process your order
  • if a product number changes or is discontinued
  • if you reach out with a question or concern
  • when we have a promotion tailored just to you
  • when your order ships with tracking information

SHIPPING

We ship using UPS ground, USPS and various LTL carriers. We offer free shipping  over orders of $150 that will ship with our various carriers depending on the weight and cheapest shipping option available. Laguna and Sawstop are exceptions in which they require us to charge a shipping and handling fee. Learn more here.

When selecting expedited shipping, we do not guarantee that the item is in stock and will ship a certain amount of days from placing the order when selecting expedited shipping. The expedited shipping depicts how long it takes to get to you after the item is in stock and leaves the warehouse. You agree to these terms at checkout.

In order to get you the product as quickly as possible, our warehouse ships what we have in stock at the time even if we are waiting on another shipment to fulfill the rest of your order. Rest assured, you will always receive all of the items that you ordered, they just may come at different times depending on availability, including complementary items such as hats and shirts.

LEAD TIMES & SUPPLY CHAIN DELAYS

Most manufacturers are experiencing delays in the supply chain, and the demand for the tools has significantly increased. This has led to longer lead times that we have ever seen in the history of the company. Know that we are equally as frustrated at the current state of the industry but are ordering 3-6 months in advance to mitigate against long customer lead times.

To check the status of your order, please fill out a customer service form, and one of our dedicated customer service representatives will get back to you within 24-48 business hours with a response via phone or email.

RETURNS & ORDER CANCELLATIONS

We allow new & unused items in the original packaging to be returned for a fee. Learn more here about the process.

Rest assured, if you change your mind, you can cancel your order over the phone only at any point before it ships. If you are considering canceling your order, we recommend getting one in hand before canceling as we have found that we have some of the shortest lead times possible amidst supply chain delays.
