Abralon

Abralon is a unique, multifunctional sanding material developed for tackling both smooth and profiled surfaces. Its patented, flexible construction allows it to create a smooth sanding pattern on angled surfaces and edges while minimising the risk of pressure marks. The flexible weave also allows water and air to pass freely, making it suitable for both dry and wet sanding, by machine or by hand.

  1. Darrell Melancon asks Oct 24, 2022

In removing dist nibs in clear coat would you recommend 1500 then 3000 then 4000 in that order, or any other grits? Thanks

    1. Brandon Cook answers Oct 24, 2022

      Hello!
For recommendations on this particular application, it would be best to speak directly with a Mirka representative at 330-472-8291. This is Phil, he is our rep and is very good with this kind of thing. You might have a look at the Microstar series. It is developed specifically for removing runs, dust nibs, orange peel etc from top coats, finishes, etc. I hope this helps!
      Thank you for your inquiry!
