Same as the review from Kelly, I use this paper as my final sanding step before applying finish. It cuts material away better then any other brand of sandpaper I've tried before. I learned to let the sander do the work. In other words, if you simply move the sander around with your hands without applying any downward pressure, you will have the best results.

After sanding to 220 grit with Mirka Gold, I do not need to go any higher. The wood is ready for finishing. All other tooling marks and scratches from previous grits are gone. Even with a low angle light the surface looks as smooth as glass (and feels like that too).
