Hiolit F is particularly effective for sanding profiles, seams and other areas where flexibility and a high quality surface finish are required. Thanks to its special binding properties which prevents clogging, it's also suitable for sanding soft metals, such as copper, as well as for sanding between layers of paint on brass.

Hiolit J is a flexible sanding material for metal and wood workshops. Compared to standard weight cloth products, Hiolit J is more aggressive, while still remaining very flexible.

Hiolit X is a stiffer product than Hiolit J and is recommended for belt sanding and other machine sanding. The grits 36 -80 are suitable for aggressive sanding, e.g. severe rust damage, and other sanding operations where large amounts of material have to be removed.
