This is a great product. The mesh can be cleaned out and reused several times before it becomes unusable. Like all sandpaper it does wear out, however either rinsing it out with water or air returns it a like new condition. Wet wood does clog it up, just like any other sandpaper, but again it can be cleaned out easily. It is somewhat difficult to cut with a pair of scissors however I consider that a good thing. It is fairly pliable (the higher grits become much more pliable as you go up them) and can be bent to fit whatever shape you need it to. Given how long you can use each piece these rolls will last a very long time.
If I had a complaint it would be the writing on the back tends to fade after a couple of washings (granted i probably use it a little longer than I really should), so a different color to the mesh would be nice. I am not sure if that color would be transferred to a light colored wood like maple however.
